BLUES FROM THE YELLOW

I'd just turned sixteen
When I got into the blues scene
I got a hold of a guitar
No longer could I listen
To the songs playing on the radio

Fell in love a several times
And now I have a home on my own
Pains I had to go through
My guitar saved me
I am yellow ― there's blues in this country, too

Today I am not what I used to be
Creating many sounds, I'm into the world at last
People anticipating the East
I'm dreaming of the West
The world is one, people are one

Creation is me life, and blues is my soul
Right on, Buddy Guy, man
You can find Empire State Building even her in Tokyo
