Horse Riding

I've been horse riding as when I was younger
I should've talked about it
You would have loved it for sure

I've been around the block one thousand times or more
Loved to see you around
With same old faces and some new ones

Telephone rings and I grab the gun
Forever has come to its end
And you will never recognize us in this blood red uniform
What do I want to do with all this turmoil over
Probably cry in your warm toxic embrace
Captain says we'll conquer them by day three morning

You've been brighter than the sky inside us
Washed out pictures too
I'd do anything to touch your lips
I cross my fingers for anyone making their rounds

I ran into the wind while my parents were yelling
So proud, so brave, and so alone

I had a horse to ride
Eyes of turquoise blue
Singing a silent song to myself
Revolution needs a soundtrack

You've been brighter than the sky inside us
Washed out pictures too
I'd do anything to touch your lips
I cross my fingers for anyone goes around tonight
